Company committed to working closely with local councils to help provide sustainable modes of transportation while keeping streets and cities clean

Austin, July 30, 2019 – To help Australia leap forward to a more sustainable future, global micro-mobility company, Frog, is hopping into the Australian market. Starting on August 1, Frog will begin activity in Australia as the first and only company worldwide to bring a commercial grade shared micro-mobility solution to the Australian marketplace.

Matt Hankin is the newly-appointed Territory Partner for Frog in Australia, based in Sydney. His first course of business will be to meet with key municipalities to learn about their transportation gaps and needs and present options for how Frog can be a sustainable micro-mobility partner for them.

“Frog has a global vision to reframe the way we as a society approach ‘point A to point B transport’ in our cities while reducing carbon emissions to leave a clean footprint and virtually no impact on the environment,” said Hankin. “We look forward to partnering with cities to bring our sustainable micro-mobility transportation solution to communities across the country.”

With consideration for reducing ‘bully’ market entry mentality, Frog are in discussions with city leaders to determine the best launch city, and will update the public with launch plans. The Frog team is committed to working very closely with councils to ensure Frog is supporting, complementing and enhancing each city’s efforts in providing more sustainable modes of transport while keeping streets and cities clean.

Frog custom designs and builds its scooters to specifically meet today’s high demand rideshare use so locals and visitors alike commute, run errands, visit friends, and explore cities in a more efficient, environmentally-friendly way.

“Forget about what you already know about short term bike and e-scooter rentals, Frog is going to be a game changer,” said Hankin. “Think clean air, clean streets, clean city. Frog will Leap Forward to exceed your expectations.”

Being the first ever commercial grade shared micro-mobility solution available, Frogs are heavy duty, durable and reliable; from its dynamic operating software down to the hardy materials and thoughtfully designed framework.

“Without cluttering streets and cities, Frogs offer the highest quality shared micro-mobility solution on the market, differentiating the experience from other shared micro-mobility rides — Australian Froggers can expect a measurable difference to what they might have tried in the past,” said Hankin. “Since we control the deployment and management, we will also ensure optimum service and management of our fleets.”

Frog’s plan for Australia and the rest of the world is increased connectivity for cities, the liberation of commuters and a major shift from pollutive means of transport to cleaner modes of mobility.
